St. John’s Academy Students Shed Light on Growing Problem

St. John’s Jesuit students are learning exactly what it means to be men for others, and to illuminate that idea, they are starting a year-long program to study alternative energy which will drive awareness and, ultimately, “light the world.”

What started as an energy analysis in the Academy has grown into a campaign of global awareness. Their research is proving not only the cost-savings benefits of alternative energy sources, but more importantly, shedding light on energy poverty throughout the world. It is a fact that 1.6 billion people on the earth have no electricity. The implications are staggering.
